I love those songs! I agree that the Dance music now isn't as good as Dance music back then, and I wish we had more Dance songs become crossover hits these days.
I love almost all of these songs! There are a few more great dance songs that came out in the 90s too.... like
Sonique - It Feels So Good
Sonique - Sky
Stars on 54 - If You Could Read My Mind
Amber - This Is Your Night
Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee)
Haddaway - What Is Love
Rockel - In A Dream
Vengaboys - We Like To Party
I really hope these type of songs return to prominence in the US during the 2010's .... let's face it, compared to the 90s.... the 2000's era of music sucked big time.
OMG these songs will ALWAYS make me feel good and remember the great days of the 90s. I still listen to just about everyone of the above ALL THE TIME and proud of it. I LOVE the other version of "Ready to Go". It's one of my fave songs of all time. 90's dance music made me lay back, forget about everything else, and just....idk...smile. lol I miss the Musicspace.com commercials that used to air showing all of the classic dance cds such as "Fired Up!" and what not. I go to Youtube just to watch them all from time to time.
*sheds a tear*
Somebody. Anybody. Somehow revive this era and bring back. Of course, nothing's usually better than the original, but it's worth a try.
no matter what any of the million songs was, you could always seem to picture a gay black man with a pink wig singing the song. Don't get me wrong, "This Is Your Night" (Amber), "In A Dream" (Rockell) and a couple others still make me get crazy...
Unique II - Break My Stride
Los Umbrellos - Non Tengo Dinero
Aqua - My Oh My
The Original - I Love You Baby
Urban Cookie Collective - The Key, The Secret
KLF & Tammy Wynette - Justified & Ancient
Snap! - Colour Of Love
2 Unlimited - Twilight Zone
Corina's "Temptation" is one of the BEST 90's freestyle dance songs. I still love it. There are so many other great ones, and I'm blanking on all of them right now. lol
