Chart Analysis
I can already hear K$Ellie SEETHING about somewhere in the world for the #1 song to be Boom Clap. I want to note, the reason this song resurged up my countdown again was in part due to my exposure to the video/single version of Boom Clap, whereas before I was using the soundtrack version of Boom Clap (they have differences, I can tell). So Boom Clap becomes the first Charli XCX song to top my countdown ever (poor her other features). Also I think this is the first time me and member collin have had a #1 song similarly ever.
As for the countdown in general, this was the week I started to get back into the general scheme of things now a days. The past charts have been recurrent songs after another, and this was the week to appreciate the songs from 2014 most especially. So with songs lifting up my countdown like Yard Sale by Neon Hitch rising 14-7, What Is It With You by Luke Bryan rising 26-4, Dirt by Florida Georgia Line rising 28-9, and Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj rising from 12-8, they all really set the tone that my countdown is back to current 2014 music (sort of).
....Well except ironically Candy by Mandy Moore re-enters my countdown, and well as Die Young by Ke$ha (DY re-entering is thanks to the Becky G remix of Die Young being so great this week).
Other then that, most songs from 2014 were still hanging around my countdown. So Get Your Shine On picked up from 5-2 this week, Shake It Off fell 2 spots from 1-3, This Is How We Do stayed at #6 this week.
