Ne-Yo has said the return of pop superstar Michael Jackson could either be a huge success, or a complete failure.

The R&B star revealed he has been writing material for the singer's hugely anticipated comeback album: "I've been submitting songs and he's been picking the ones he likes. But I've no idea when the album will come out. That's a question for Michael."

"This is such a huge record for him, so he can be as picky as he likes," Ne-Yo tells the Daily Mail. "It's either going to be the greatest comeback ever or a really sad attempt at recapturing old glories. And we don't want it to be the latter."

What if he dropped Ne-Yo's songs didn't make the album and Michael came back and had a huge hit? Ne-Yo would be eating his words then.... but like I said, don't think it's gonna happen. The 688,000 people in America and 3 million in the World who bought Thriller 25, which only is a compilation and selling more than many other albums such as Hard Candy for example. That's also why his label releases several "hits" albums each year in different countries due to his popularity height. I understand you may be young and don't understand the power that Michael has, but just know he'll always be around. A regular album would double that.
