It was not THAT bad. It could've been worse. She had serious trouble with her falsetto, though. I think the GP is overreacting in this case.

only the high notes were bad, she should just change the way she sings some of her songs.

Not sure what was going on with her there but this performance with Mr. Buble last year was good to me. Not her best but shows she's still got it

I don't think she sounds that bad...I mean sure she isn't hitting the notes she used to but she's not off key or anything.

The song continues to climb the Itunes chart, higher than any other Christmas song. Legendary Chanteuse remains getting paid while the hot new artists christmas songs are nowhere to be found.

18 years later and after a bad performance she is still charting higher than Beyonce or any new artists attempts at festive toons on Itunes.

Not her best but it is still on par to what the current Pop girls can do and that honestly say a lot about the current atmosphere in music. Unfortunately, she is the one who is only getting castrated about it because we all hold her to a higher level as she is the "VOICE." Truthfully, she needs warming up and a vocal coach to help her. The only thing I'm glad about this is that she sang live. She could've lip-synched but she didn't.

MTE, the audacity is real, when she sings very well they accused her of lipsync-ing, and they the first to bash her when she is off key and shouting RIP her voice, her voice is gone, she can't sing, etc. etc.

I know that Mariah's voice is hit and miss sometimes, but let's give her credit when credit is due
