I could normally say he's boring and does the same thing but that's probably not his reason, considering Sam won last year. The main reason tbh is he's not British. It's the X Factor UK. The same happened to Ruth Lorenzo, in Alex's season. Simon made comments about both at the beginning of the live shows and always makes snarky comments about BRITISH talent. So I wouldn't be surprised if that impacts it.
