Back in the 80's it was "I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way"
but that generation did nothing with what they were taught
I bet I could rub those dry ass breadsticks they serve me and start a fire that could burn down the cafeteria.
Ya'll need to chill. Michelle didn't personally visit every cafeteria and make those meals.
It's a combination of her guidelines mixing in with the cheapness of the school districts. There should be outlines on what kind of foods to be serving the students and more budget for the schools to actually make better meals. It's not just one person's fault.
its because these schools only knew how to make pizza, fries, and cheeseburgers. now that they have to serve food that's less horrible for you, they have no idea how to prepare it
Maybe if the schools cut funding to their precious sports team and board salaries, they'd be able to afford better food.
I know for a fact these schools can afford to give better lunches because I know schools that provide amazing lunches for their kids despite Michelle's guidelines.
You know this for a fact how? You realize a lot of schools in this country don't get that much money at all? It boils down to more than just the "cheapness of the schools" or Michelle. It's a larger problem.
