even though this tour has been revived, I feel like the Hard Candy tour era went by really fast.... (especially the US leg of the tour) the Confessions tour era seemed to drag on forever....

Yeah, because she promoted the hell of COAD. Unfortunately, HC was released in the midst of her breakup and the tour was her way to get over it.

I think it's a great idea obviusly she's doing it because tour is what makes more money and she's doing millions!! her tour sold extreamly well but I think she should go to places like Asia or Australia places that she didn't attend not places like Europe if she already tour over there that's boring.

Celine tour was also over here in Mexico last year and I was thinking that she didn't sold out because she doesn't have promotion over here in Mx at ALL but I was when I read that she sold the 18,000 seats of Palacio de los Deportes

Could be, but Madonna is a weariless performer and she does a great job at it.

I agree. She did so many COAD-related gigs. The performances at G-A-Y/Koko, the Grammys and Coachella were all huge. Even Live Earth was sort of Confessions era IMO because she did Hung Up, La Isla Bonita and Ray of Light with basically the same staging as CT. Also, there was more of a build up to the tour because COAD was released in November.

Both UK dates on Madonna's Sticky & Sweet world tour have sold out.

Tickets to the gigs, at London's 02 Arena on 4 July and Manchester's MEN Arena on 7 July, were snapped up by fans just minutes after going on sale.

The tour, to promote her album Hard Candy, is the biggest grossing in history for a solo artist.
Madonna has visited Europe and both North and South America since kicking off the tour at Cardiff's Millennium stadium in August last year.
