That's because each entry in the SF series gets a NEW artstyle, and each character gets made from SCRATCH, you can totally tell the difference between Alpha Chun-Li, SF3 Chun-Li, or even MvC3 Chun-Li, because the artsyle to each subseries is so unique and makes the character feel and look unique. Tekken on the other hand hasn't updated its artsyle since the stone age, the latest 4 entries have looked THE SAME, so when a character gets the same costume in 2 different games, it looks as if they simply copied + pasted the model since there is barely a noticeable difference. BUT i wasn't expecting you to get that
