I totally agree. I was bullied heavily in school and a majority of the bullying came from boys (I'm a girl). The girls would only go as far as excluding me from things while the boys would say terrible things to my face, spread rumors about me, grab at me/hit at me etc., threaten me. Girls normally only go as far as being a little catty but boys don't really have a limit to how far they'll go when bullying someone.

Girls are bigger bullies. Us guys piss each other off, but it never really gets personal to the level it gets with girls and even some gay guys.

Some boys bully worse than some girls and some girls bully worse than some boys. I was heavily bullied as a child by both boys and girls. Gender has nothing to do with a person's need to have a sense of power.
