As a Shaki fan, "Shakira." didn't deserve a Grammy tbh. Maybe some of the songs did (Medicine, Loca por ti, YDCAM, Cut Me Deep) but they only choose singles in general. And Shakira.'s singles were a mess (Empire is the best and it's not even a Shaki song )

The Grammys are not about Quality (just look at some of the Nominees). And Laundry Service, OF2 and She Wolf have been snubbed in the Past despite critical Acclaim. It's pretty obvious, that the Grammys are dominated by US-American Artists, every now and then a UK-Act or an Australian Act will get one. When was the last Time an Artist from a non-english speaking Country won a Grammy in a general Field?
