Federal Gov to help reform Cleveland Police Department
Police in Cleveland are so racist that they had to have the federal government had to step in and impose reforms twice within a decade. From the drive by shooting of young boys to the hiring of cops deemed unfit at previous law enforcement jobs to 51 police vehicle car chases they are truly a mess.
Is this the shooting of the 12 year old boy? I saw the video and it was such a mess, my sociology teacher showed it in class and they shot the boy not even giving him 2 seconds when they pulled up to him. We need a revamp of the requirements to become a cop, I'm starting to think its too easy to become one. Get these scumbags who aren't good individuals at all outta here. Sorry just because you're a cop doesn't mean you're some pristine individual that we should look up to as models! Also I am not one to bash all cops, not all cops are bad, but we need to have higher requirements to be honest. Cops hold quite a bit of power, and with this power comes responsibility that seems like people can't handle.

That's what made the video so disturbing for me. He wasted no time shooting that kid... the officer's foot barely touched the ground before he opened fire. SMH
I live in the Cleveland area & NO... this is NOT happening guys
Yeah the attorney general just announced it today. They released the video tapes of the 12 year old boy being killed and of the car chase where two unarmed individuals were killed. Etc...
The police dont have enough education to exercise good judgement even and their job requires it more than almost any other.
No. They were cited for excessive force but not taken over.
They were cited and they had to agree to all kinds of changes and reforms the federal government wanted as a settlement/consent decree (the technical term).
