The fact she's supposedly bisexual, appreciates her gay male fans and has gay influences in her music doesn't contradict that she's homophobic. There's a clear difference between a bisexual woman and a gay man. Moreover, "appreciating" that gay people buy your music and support you doesn't prevent one from being homophobic (see Donna Summer) and there are plenty of people who take interest in culture of other groups and are still bigoted (see all those white tourists in Southeast Asia).
She clearly has issues with gay men. Ever since Rose McGowan talked about misogynistic attitudes among men, she's hijacked that opinion to rationalize her use of that word.
