It's driven by jealousy. In Azealia's own mind, her disappointing career trajectory is no fault of her own. To her, her career shortcomings could never be due to her being a bitter, ill tempered, no ear for hits, zero-P.R.-sense-having-beast. It's always somebody's else's fault and today it's the white (wo)man's fault, so she will dish whatever disparaging remarks she can to invalidate Iggy's success and extend her own 15 minutes of fame. I don't blame her, it's gotta hurt when your entire music career can be summed up as "twitter shock artist Azealia Banks".

Artists like Iggy Azealia, Miley Cyrus, and Katy Perry like to use (or appropriate, more accurately) black culture and music to sell records and claim to appreciate it but when it comes down to speaking out against racialized police brutality, they are all completely silent.

Not just on here. On Twitter too. Bullying is never okay. Iggy probably feels very hurt right now because all people do is try to bring race into everything she does. She's obviously worked hard to get where she is
