I mean lbr, in 2008 she had Teardrops On My Guitar crossover in the US and minorly with Our Song and was marketed for the most part as a country girl with a hint of pop in her music, then BAM Change goes top 10. Maybe people bought the song in their belief the song was her lead single and jumped the gun?
