It's like when Ann Doud (or whatever her name was) had to promote and distribute her film and went bankrupt since the team behind her movie weren't going to be sending it out or campaigning a great performance.
That being said, obviously Aniston is a bigger name. The trailers for her film haven't gotten much views though. She's gonna have to do a lot more to make it past her guaranteed globe nomination.
My sister: you know I love you, but you should NOT make film/B.O. predictions.
You know the hype is there. Jennifer has been promoting it everywhere. And it's all over my timeline.
People want to see that movie, I can assure you it will do well.
We've already discussed my false predictions in the past.
Also, can we talk about how BOTH lists have ignored The Leftovers?
Like, best reviewed and most acclaimed first season ever and most acclaimed show of the year, my ass
No one ever took The Leftovers seriously.
It's so condescending, preachy and annoying.
Basically Newsroom 2.0 minus Sorkin's epic monologues (and Emmy wins)

It doesn't even have a real distributor.
Trust me, the press machine that Aniston is bankrolling isn't going to work. It's also coming out during a really dead time (and in limited release).
I own most of Godga's music but removing it would be a huuuuuge mistake and make her more irrelevant to an already adapting younger generation. Only Taylor Swift can really pull it off without hurting herself.
Selma looks good! I was so afraid it'd be another huge misfire like the Mandela movie and Lee Daniel's The Butler.
More artists should start removing their music from streaming services. It's become annoying, listening to how everyone feels entitled to be able to listen to all of the music they want for $8.99 a month and artists being demonized for defending their commercial interests against that foolish precedent. The movie industry refused to fall into the same trap so quickly.
