Why do people always have a race-based mentality? Black people are inspired by other cultures as well, it's not only white people. Everyone gets inspirations from everywhere. What about when a black woman dyes her hair blond? Is she a dark copy of a white person?
He didnt really attack or shade anyone honestly. Just pointed out a truth.
Nope. Name Dropping in hiphop happens constantly.. people just like to overact about everything especially on ATRL. The verse was fire, the whole song is fire.
’m just playin’, but all good jokes contain true ****"
There was no lie told. White artist doing urban music isn't a problem. But they've always gotten more credit and praise for it than the creators.
Eminem himself has acknowledged his success in hiphop is due to his race. So if none of you have a problem with Eminem saying it, why is it a problem when cole says it? Same message, different messenger.
Okay my analogy was pretty bad (that girl is probably an Australian native though?). What I meant is that why is a white person a pale copy of a black person when he/she tries to do similar music/style/hair color?

That was wild. There's very few people left that I still feel weird around. I was in super fan mode. I was sitting there talking a lot, mad nervous, just trying to get it all out [laughs. I told him when I used to have his raps on my wall, this that and the third. I could've really talked his head off for an hour with questions and ****. He seemed really appreciative though. I could tell that he was genuine. I was like I'm not a fan just to say I'm fan.
