If they really wanted her in their life, they shouldnt have signed the adoption papers and willingly give their granddaughter away. The moment you do it, you lose all rights and it doesnt matter if you are a blood relative or not anymore. They either did it for money or because they wanted a better future for Mercy (and she certainly gets that from Madonna).

Now its too late to complain. It must be hard to watch her from far away, but at least they know that she is all right and has a much brighter future.

They were adopted, because someone didn't give two ***** about them and put them in an orphanage. White celebrities adopt them not because "it looks better" only because children from american orphanages have atleast a stable place to live, food and education - chlidren from African orphanages don't have even that...

I'm not even her fan but even I know she spent millions on improving the situation in Malawi. She both tried to help the community and adopt and give a better life to a singular child. Funny how nobody notes all the charitable things she did there. I swear I am barely half a fan and I end up protecting her cuz of people too lazy to use google.

Especially if there was a recent thread here saying she is building 300 schools there, which are in addition to the other schools and orphanages she built already

I'm sorry, but if she didn't care to visit her granddaughter when she was poor and alone, then why would she suddenly care now that she's been legally adopted by Madonna except for wanting money? If this was actually about family ties, she wouldn't have abandoned the girl for years.

Not only is Madonna doing nothing wrong by not bringing her to the family constantly, but I think the most moral thing to do would be keep a young girl away from the gold-digging grandma
