Yes, you're right. But many people (including Billboard) include the sales of 2000 as part of this decade. I remember that Billboard made a list last year of the
artists con most #1's of this decade and they put Mariah Carey with 4 #1's:
Thank God I Found You (2000), We Belong Together (2005), Don't Forget About Us (2005) & Touch My Body (2008).
They also included Christina Aguilera with 3 #1's:
What A Girl Wants (2000),
Come On Over Baby (2000) & Lady Marmalade (2001).

So don't be surprised if Billboard includes the sales of the big albums of 2000 like No Strings Attached, The Marshall Mathers LP, Oops...I Did It Again, Black And Blue and others as part of the best selling albums of this current decade
