Given the FORMALITY of the occasion, and the expectations of the first family, Sasha is dressed inappropriately. Lets be honest. The dress is way too short, by a LONG way it is an inappropriate length, I mean her cardigan is longer. Her boots and socks look ridiculous for the context... Its not racy and the club comment is ridiculous but you get what she is saying - this is not the time for contemporary teen fashion. And Malia's jumper is not exactly formally appropriate either.
What I'm saying is if either of them turned up to a professional interview dressed like this, they would be ruled out within 2 seconds of introducing themselves. Not critisizing the kids themselves, they are young, but you would think the white house staff or whatever would have done better.

They weren't going to a job interview or anything important for that matter… just some dumb Turkey pardoning.
They've dressed casual every year for the event.

Mess. There is nothing wrong with what they are wearing. They are dressed very modern and contemporary while still being demure and appropriate. She really tried it.

Accept that the occasion is not formal. It's supposed to be light hearted fun. Not another reason to attack the presidents children. If you don't even know that the pardoning of the turkey is not considered a formal occasion educate yourself on it.

The holiday is thanksgiving. They are dressed like how many well groomed and mannered teens dress. This isn't a massive formal event. It is so casual. At the end of the day they are not even the true representation of America. The racism, obesity, poverty in America are. If people are so worried about how we appear, they should start fixing the big problems. Not worried about some ****ing teen girls who have never had a lick of scandal. Like girl gone

When you are a hypocrite whose teenage years were spent shoplifting and speeding you are in no position to give anyone condescending thoughts on what is classy. I am glad she was mercilessly dragged and resigned.
