2014's hits + Christmas songs will be played a lot because the Countdowns and the Holidays. So new hits will wait until late Dec-Early Jan.

I agree that it's good for his standards - stupendous even. JoBros' highest peaker on pop radio was #12 according to billboard.com, and Jealous is at #7. And they only had 1 song with more weeks in the sales T10 - Burnin' Up. Jealous is certainly doing better than anything from his group's successors as ruling boy band this year.
I'm probably somewhat annoyed that he knocked SIO off the T10 iTunes last night.

A lot of this years hits will get a boost on A1 right after Christmas too when AC switches back from Christmas to its regular format. Of course, some will already be recurrent on Billboard's Hot 100, so it will not matter that much. For the ones that are current, like AATB and SIO, they will get 15-20 million impression boosts. "Blank Space" was just beginning to take off there, so it will likely explode on AC after Christmas. Carrie Underwoods SITW may hit AC after Christmas too.

The fact that he's been in the top 10 of the digital sales chart for 4 weeks is insane for him. (And this was before the good promo started). And selling 90k in a week, three times so far. It's #8 in the Billboard Hot 100, I mean Who expected that? Not even me and him having his biggest hit on radio too.
