People pulling the "luxury" card aren't realizing that because of the cost to produce and buy meat, eating meat is considered a luxury in most parts of the world.
Not to mention that while a fox died to make her coat, kids died to make the electronics you're using to complain about fur.

It is the same. People try to justify eating meat with "it's food" or "a coat is a luxury", but just like wearing fur, eating meat is unnecessary, costly, and is considered a luxury for most people on this planet. And if you want to get technical, the meat industry is way, way, way worse than the fur industry as it contributes to most of the pollution in our atmosphere and eating meat can cause an array of diseases.
