I'm black but I don't think I've actually faced racism. One time tho I sat next to some white lady on the bus and she literally got up in 0.383929292 seconds and then she got off at the next stop and she literally just stood at the bus stop
To this day, I don't know if she was getting off the bus and didn't see the point of staying there if someone wanted to sit down anyways or if she was racist

Homophobia is almost an everyday thing for a Dominican because the culture thrives off of machismo, so remarks about femininity and being gay are common. I've also been made fun of for both my Caucasian and Non-Caucasian features. People also have also put me up to cringe-worthy gender expectations.

The worst type of discrimination though, is the one that happens to you when you're not aware. It's the discrimination that stops you from getting somewhere and you just don't understand what's wrong. Who knows how many times it's happened, but I know it's happened at least once.
