I really hate Robert Kirkman's excuse when he kills a character like "it's an apocalypse and people die" well yeah they do but if they don't know how to protect themselves.
He says he wants to keep it as realistic as possible. And yes they have done a great job at that but killing someone doesn't make it realistic.
He just doesn't want to say he's doing it for the ratings.
Beth pretty much made the desition to die at that point.
When she told Dawn that now she understood why she said 'They always come back', Beth realized Dawn would keep kidnapping people and forcing those she perceived weak into slavery and torture.
She was literally at a point where she didn't care she was gonna get killed as long as she stopped Dawn.
Which, alright, I get it, but bitch aim for an eye or the neck.
Useless to the end, and what about your people? you were gonna get them all killed too? Literally BYE.
I can't with people saying her death was unnecessary. Her death was probably one of the most well written we've seen so far in the show. She didn't become trapped by Walkers by being stupid. She was tangoing with a sociopath who was trying to manipulate her into believing that things had to ve chaotic in order for their system to work.
I think it's important to realize that Beth started out as a suicidal emo kid who died emotionally in season 3. She knew that she couldnt leave the hospital with Dawn in charge so she attacked her knowing it would get her killed one way or another. You can almost call it a sacrifice. She killed off the two most corrupt people there in less than a day.
Also, I had such a hard on for Rick during this episode. When he strutted across that parking structure and got the two cops together for the trade. . . umf!
