Yeah, it was just a little side remark to illustrate how stupid it is to say that J. Cole is better than Taylor. Metacritic is about the only objective thing to compare them by. Taylor has a higher score. Case closed. Rap fans are gonna say Cole is better while not being familiar with Taylor's discography and (most) pop fans will say that Taylor is better while not knowing Cole's music. But this stems from being subjective.

Take the L and lets move on.

But somehow rap/hiphop/urban music seems to be Metacritic goldmine. Compare the scores for pop albums and for albums in genres i mentioned. Pop loses out hard. It just makes it all the way more embarrassing that Cole has lousier score. Or Taylor is just THAT GOOD? Hmm.
