It SEEMS that way, because that's how you choose to see it.
Pink Friday:
"Your Love"
"Check It Out"
"Right Thru Me"
"Moment 4 Life"
"Super Bass"
"Did It On'em"
"Fly"
Roman Reloaded:
"Starships"
"Right by My Side"
"Beez in the Trap"
"Pound the Alarm"
"Va Va Voom"
The Re-Up:
"The Boys"
"Freedom"
"High School"
The Pinkprint:
"Pills N Potions"
"Anaconda"
"Only"
"Bed of Lies"
19 singles, and only 7 are pop, yet she's considered a pop artist.
2 Albums, 1 Re-release, and only
12/42 are
pop yet she's considered a pop artist. I don't get the logic. This is not even including her mixtapes, or the songs she released earlier in the year, the one's that you all blatantly forget about purposely.

Point is, Nicki is a Hip-Hop artist w/ a pop influence occasionally.
