Sorry but madonna just does not compare. She is more consitent than mariah but honestly.. the 90s alone >>>

It didn't actually go #1 in 41 countries. That was debunked a long time ago.

They either meant iTunes wise, or any types of charts in each country (Dance charts, Airplay charts, Digital charts, etc).

But if you go through every country with an official overall singles chart, Hung Up didn't go #1 in 41. I don't even think it went #1 in 30.

That's nice sweetie but being a bigger tabloid icon doesn't quite equate to a bigger music peak! Why couldn't Madonna have a studio album outsell Music Box or Daydream if she defined the 80's and had more ww hits? Could Madonna be the original singles artist?
