I think "All About The Bass" will remain within the Top Five through the chart weeks ending mid-January, which are the charts reflecting activity right after Christmas and New Years. Unlike "Counting Stars". "Dark Horse", "All Of Me", or other songs with lengthy chart runs the last couple of years, Meghan Trainor's song has only been on the Hot 100 for 20 weeks. However, she did not spend 15-20 weeks bouncing around the chart before "All About The Bass" got its momentum going either.
The song reached the Top 10 in its fourth week (17 straight weeks), the Top Five in its fifth week (16 straight weeks), and the Top Three in its sixth week 15 straight weeks). The song has also been in the Top Two 14 of the last 15 weeks (and 13 straight weeks) and eight straight weeks at Number One..
So even though this songs total number of weeks on the Hot 100 is not that impressive, AATB climbed into the top tiers quickly and has stayed there. And I think the song will hang on through the I-Tunes gift card redemption boost weeks in January. Did Meghan get nominated any Grammys? If she did, she might keep her in the Top Ten through part of February.
Here is AATB's 20 week Hot 100 run so far: 84-54-28-8-4-2-3-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-2-2-2
and I think she will be number two again next week.

Yeah, AATB will probably end up with 22-25 weeks in the Top 10. Impressive.
I would call the 4th biggest hit of the year behind the obvious biggest 3: Happy, Dark Horse, and All of Me.

If the songs were ranked for the calendar year (January-December), Megan Trainor would be #4 for 2014 with "All About The Bass", possibly #3 since Katy Perry got a lot of her sales and streaming points last December (this gave her the lead over John Legend). However, Trainor's points are cut over two chart years, (December-November) which means AATB will wind up between 6 and 10 this year, and around 15-20 next year.
Trainors sales are going to be comparable with John Legend and Katy Perry too with AATB, unless the CD gets released and the CMA starts cutting into the numbers like it has for Swift. If the album release waits long enough AATB will hit 5 million, as the still going strong, selling in the six figures as she closes in on 4 million, which has not happened since "Happy".

BB said the ratio they wanted was 40:35:25 right?
Last year. I think that's fair tbh. Sales are the most important as people have to pay to listen. Radio has a far broader audience than streaming as well if you consider songs get like 150-200 million ai in a week sometimes whilst they'd be unlikely to ever get 150-200 million plays ever unless they are like the biggest 10 streaming songs ever. Also you request the songs you like on the radio as well.
Blank space should get its 3rd week on Thursday with a size able lead again. How long will it take for Bruno to go to #2???

My typically illogical predictions.
(01) Blank Space || iTunes: #1 || Radio: #4 || Spotify: N/A (=)
(02) Take Me To Church || iTunes: #4 || Radio: #14 || Spotify: #1 (+1)
(03) All About That Bass || iTunes: #5 || Radio: #8 || Spotify: #14
(04) Animals || iTunes: #11 || Radio: #1 || Spotify: #4 (=)
(05) Shake It Off || iTunes: #7 || Radio: #5 || Spotify: N/A (=)
(06) Uptown Funk || iTunes: #3 || Radio: #58 || Spotify: #15 (+12)
(07) Habits (Stay High) || iTunes: #26 || Radio: #2 || Spotify: #9 (-1)
(08) I'm Not The Only One || iTunes: #9 || Radio: #9 || Spotify: #13 (-1)
(09) Love Me Harder || iTunes: #15 || Radio: #10 || Spotify: #2 (=)
(10) The Heart Wants What It Wants || iTunes: #8 || Radio: #64 || Spotify: #5 (+10)
(11) Jealous || iTunes: #10 || Radio: #12 || Spotify: #6 (-3)
(12) I Don't F**k With You || iTunes: #16 || Radio: #25 || Spotify: #3 (-1)
(13) Lips Are Movin' || iTunes: #6 || Radio: #54 || Spotify: #17 (+6)
(14) Bang Bang || iTunes: #14 || Radio: #15 || Spotify: #16 (-2)
(15) Tuesday || iTunes: #20 || Radio: #24 || Spotify: #7 (-2)
(16) Don't || iTunes: #24 || Radio: #3 || Spotify: #29 (-6)
(17) Waves || iTunes: #22 || Radio: #6 || Spotify: #42 (-3)
(18) Trumpets || iTunes: #21 || Radio: #17 || Spotify: #12 (-1)
(19) No Type || iTunes: #35 || Radio: #56 || Spotify: #19 (-3)
(20) Blame || iTunes: #32 || Radio: #7 || Spotify: #23 (+1)
The problem with some hits these days is that they peak too fast on iTunes, and by the time radio catches up they don't chart too well. Or they peak decently, but could've peaked much higher. There are plenty of examples this past year: Burn, Don't, Waves, Trumpets, Blame, Cool Kids, Boom Clap, Habits, Latch, 2 On to name a few.

Interesting week, Meghan Trainor keeps growing on Worldwide Views, it's just insane the All About That Bass phenomenon
Greatest Gainer is likely Selena Gomez, she gained amazingly on Streaming/Sales/Airplay, it's gonna be an interesting week for THWWIW
Mark/Bruno gained like crazy on Streaming, probaly the Streaming Gainer for this week, I'm shocked
Lips Are Movin' is coming btw
