Vogue was more like a bonus track on that album tbh. It was originally intended to be a B-side for like 7th single from Like A Prayer.

I love the album (sans Vogue), don't get me wrong, but it wasn't a pure jazz album, and that's why it sold over 3 million copies, and both the dance and the sound for the lead single were blatantly used as soon as they were popular, I doubt she would have pulled those number otherwise
