Rant: If there is ever a major negative shift in public opinion of gays, having us hate each other from within is exactly what an oppressor would want. It weakens us as a community if say there is a gay bashing and the first thing a gay person thinks is "well was he being super fem?"
Us gays having a butch >>> Fem mentality is way more destructive the constructive. Having guys who are as close to straight as possible being seen as the most desirable/important is really harmful and creates a lot of problems, as it segregates us and further fetishizes heterosexual men, which is never good.
So, people like Frankie, while he represents pretty much every negative gay stereotype there is, he is still one of us and we need to remember that.
Calling him names doesn't make any of you less "gay".
