The Strokes Are Currently Writing Fourth Album
The Strokes have finally begun writing material for their anticipated fourth album.
Drummer Fabrizio Moretti revealed the news fans have been waiting for, to BBC 6 Music, following a show with his own offshoot band Little Joy.
"Julian has started writing and Nick has got some material as well," Moretti said. "We're the kind of band that it's not finished until everyone's in one room and everyone's got their parts perfectly. We're a very mechanical band."
Last year Nikolai Fraiture said the band would hit the studio this February to record the album. The Strokes last released a record in 2006 ('First Impressions Of Earth').
