I would believe it. I mean Rebel Heart sounds like a closing credits/retrospective/swan song sort of thing as well. It's all very "i'm content with what i've done, i've been enlightened and i'm ready to pass on to the next plane of my life" or something.
Hm, I can't say, but I hope she really blows it out of the water artistically with this one if it is. Hard Candy/MDNA/[future album] would in no way tarnish her legacy, but it wouldn't be the best representation of her musicality to modern audiences.

I really hope not though, I'd be heartbroken. I'd be really quite devastated. But if it has to be the end, then Rebel Heart and Wash All Over Me give me hope that she'll go all out for it.
