Messy Nick Jonas performance

So Nick did a performance for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade like 2 days ago (I think)
Everything was doing fine, Nick looking flawless as usual
.
Until the "captain" does something with his hands that it's still confusing me

I thought I was reaching until I heard the camera guy (I suppose) laughing his ass off.
Tell me please if you think what he did on National TV was not what I'm thinking or it means anything else so you can report the thread.

OMG
It means sexual penetration.
also, it's hilarious how everyone shamelessly lipsyncs at these things. He isn't even wearing a headpiece.
