California and New York are the most liberal states of the country. And I'm glad to see they are two of the leading and most well known states in the United States. I wish americans were all stereotyped as New Yorkers and Californians. Two amazing, progressive, rich, innovate states with high quality of life. Any thoughts?

I live in Southern California and while there are a ton of liberal parts, there are parts that are still very gross and Republican.
