if your going for Anne Hathaway THATS a complete laugh, her credibility if you seen her "resume" doesnt exactly scream the deserving compared to Winslet's (seeing that the Oscars clearly don't always chose the RIGHT winners but winners they feel deserve it or its their time to owe the actor an award)
Kate has been nominated 6 times, and lost 5 previous ones, to brilliant and SERIOUS work that was well deserving. So looking at that point, then yes.
Plus I've seen Rachel Getting Married, Revolutionary Road, AND The Reader. and to be honest, Kate BLOWS Anne out of the water in both RR and Reader.
Though I would say Winslet SHOULD have been nominated for Revolutionary Road since she was AMAZING in it, The Reader was also her best work as well.
OH well, just a matter of my opinion, but before you go around trying to prove a silly point, go see ALL 3 movies, and then come back and talk. Don't judge unless you see the work of both them.
