Velvet Rope had the best singles to me. But As an album it didn't strike me so hard. It is my favorite Janet Jackson era though.

Dont try to turn this into some stan war, dear, it has nothing to do with this. Janet and Madonna dont get along and yet I recognize how great Janets stuff is. My opinion on Mariahs stuff would be the same even if she and Madonna were the best friends. I just cant stand Mariahs "music", its just as simple as that.
