Very similar artists in a way, smashed hard with a couple of era but their strengths are kind of left field. Who was bigger at their peak? I remind everyone of how big Shakira was at her peak Laundry Service:
Quote:
Motivated by Gloria Estefan, Shakira successfully crossed over into the English-language pop music scene with the release of the multi-platinum selling Laundry Service (2001) and its worldwide chart-toppers "Whenever, Wherever" and "Underneath Your Clothes".[8][11][12] The album sold three million copies in six months of its release in the United States.[13] By 2002, Laundry Service had sold more than four million copies across Europe[14]
OP: Bother to explain why you think they are similar? Because I can't think of anything these 2 have in common. I give Gaga the Peak but condering the Fact that LS is her 3rd Era Shaki wins Longevity. And Monsters acting as Monsters in here, nothing new. LS had most of its Sales from US+Europe.
LOL @ the poll results. Gaga has never even come close to the massive worldwide appeal Shakira had at her peak tbh. Bigger hit singles and bigger albums.
