Sis, when u have ~$500 MILLION on ur bank account, do u really think anyone or anything can stop you from recording albums or in general doing anything legal you want basically? Shes not dependent on anyone, its not like she needs Columbia or so (if anything, they need HER). Shes one of the biggest celebrities in the world, one of the most influential, powerful and most respected musicians to live on this planet (and this isnt even an exaggeration if one thinks about it without being biased). If she wants a hit, she will get one, if she wants to sell albums, she will sell albums.
I actually applaud her for sticking to her craft instead of going for success all the time. And I promise you, next era will be different again. She is going to stick to RnB as always, but shes going to try to switch it up once again. U'll see.
