And, excuse me, if Im wrong but Hilary's Most Wanted was promoted & had multiple singles [some] sent to radios - "Wake Up" "Beat of My Heart" "Supergirl" "Fly". The era had a TOUR supporting the album.
And that was not Hilary's last era with HWR, so they supported her. She had like 3 album release after that with HWR - "Dignity" "4Ever Hilary" "Best of Hilary Duff" right?

BOHD was her last era with HWR and it also had just one single released "Reach Out". Can I ask how it did back then?

15k is better than i expected. I don't think she cares for this release tho, was released just to end her contract with HWR and to give THWWIW a place.

It had 5 new tracks, with two already heard. The Re-Up had a whole new CD worth of material, and a DVD full of content, back in 2012 where album sales were much stronger and did 36k (which includes sales of the original album as well).

Not to memtion Nicki had heaps of promo including a 3 part documentary and American Idol during the era.
Iggy had two performances so far, and has said she's not promoting much and is waiting for album 2.

Plus The New Classic is also expected to sell 13k. That's 23k with no interviews, just two performances of Beg For It.

Compared to Iggy's main competitor, she's doing fine.

It might chart as a separate album, doesn't mean it's her second album and should be expected to chart that much

And don't try spinning it acting like 11K is even remotely good when Selena Gomez is doing the same exact type of release with even less new songs, and is STILL outselling her despite the fact that she JUST released a new song and gave its first performance on Sunday while the other has been whoring herself out all year. If Iggy's selling 26k albums with a re-release/original album, Nicki sold 36k with a re-release (with a whole new CD of material)/original album and a DVD and apparently that wasn't flopping. And that was two years ago. With that logic, Iggy ain't flopping either.

Also, Selena's isn't a Re-Release. It's a brand new Compilation album, which the public are more interested in buying because it features songs from her entire career (7 years).
Whereas a re-release features songs people have only had for 6 months.

Also, the Heart Wants What It wants already has a video and promo (Radio tour, interviews etc.). The lead single off Iggy's rerelease has JUST got it's lyric video and promo is starting and is yet to even get a music video or interview.

Iggy's re-release was released just as Beg For It is starting to take off. Normally a single has started smashing before the CD is out, iggy rushed it out for Black Friday.

Um, Iggy's new single already has over 50 million Radio AI+ and not one, but TWO televised performances done in front of millions of people. And Selena's album is literally just a greatest hits compilation with two or three new tracks/remixes thrown in there, while there are FIVE brand new songs on "Reclassified."

And Iggy's selling 11-13K; don't try twisting this and adding streams in there. Face it; it's a disaster, and Iggy SZN is coming to a close.

One minute they're talking how her debut album is a huge flop that can't even go Gold & she's a singles artist or w/e and next they're acting like basically a v messy repackaged version of the same project (with a new single that's supposedly "tanking big time" too according to them) was supposed to sell about the same (maybe even more?) than "similar projects" by other artists that have been getting mainstream success for like +5 years not to mention have way bigger fanbases as well (which are usually the ones that end up buying these types of projects anyway).

It's good that they already expect Iggy to slay hard all the time now tho, they're learning from past mistakes I guess considering literally less than a year ago most of them were also saying how she'd never even put an album out/etc!

Not people acting like we haven't had single artists before..

Iggy is doing fine, she needs to keep collecting people to her fan base, that's all.. She's still new.

I'm not saying she's gonna sell 10 million in the long run but lets not forget GaGa The Fame opened with numbers not that far away.. Just goes to show some artists need some time to grow their sales and fan base.

And even if not, like I said, we have alot of single artists, and I'm sure they make great money.
