Actually, the GP did love it. I can scour the internet and find articles where the public liked it. Not just Taylor fans. The only ones that do not like it are the same old trolls that seem to have it in for Taylor because she is much better than their faves. There seems to be a pattern of obsessive hatred here! Don;t you think?
random question but to me 'Blank Space' is very obviously influenced by early Madonna. You have her in your avatar. Why do you dislike Taylor so much? It's not like either act was ever the biggest vocalist but that does not matter. Also early Madonna was far less sexual than she was by 1990 and after that. Why hate Taylor? She's definitely a better songwriter than Madonna ever was and that's not even debatable.
Maybe this has already been addressed but:
Madonna fans should like Taylor because she's a better songwriter? What about the performing difference? Taylor over-exaggerated things that don't even need over-exaggeration, Madonna is a boundary-pushing performance artist.

As somebody with a fave way more vocally talented and overall talented than Taylor and who has no reason to be pressed, I must say the performance was pretty. The vocals were horrible but there were cute guys and the whole thing looked nice
