What happened? Losing half a ratings point in demo and more than 1.5 million viewers in only a week is a big deal

This week marked Xtina's return to the show as a guest mentor but people tuned out. Do you expect her return next cycle/winter to stop the bleeding or is the show over?

Would returning to one cycle a year help (not that producers are even considering it) or is it too late?

Xtina is ratings poison, and that's especially evident considering that ratings went UP after she got rightfully replaced by Shakira and Gwen Stefani on the judging panel.

You sure can't say the same about X-Factor since ratings plummeted by more than half after Britney left, and she managed to walk away with a higher paycheck from a single season than Xtina had EVER gotten from The Voice at the time.

anyways I think those ratings are amazing though!and i doubt its cuz of Xtina lol! all i know is The Voice is doing too much I mean two seasons every year? its too much! they need to go back to 1 season a year. that builds up anticipation and what not

LMAO, Season 1 and Season 2 are the highest rated seasons of the Voice. Both which Xtina was on. In fact, ya'll swore this show would flop straight off from Season 1 and look at it now.
