Nickelback was HUGE in the early - mid 2000s. Everyone listened to them and they had some huge hits. It was not until the 2010s that the "I Hate Nickelback" wave started/rock music became "uncool".
The fact of the matter is that rock music is not something that the GP is really here for at the moment (which is crazy to think about, when has that ever been a thing???) and no one wants to buy generic rock music at that (the music that Nickelback has always been about).
It's not that bad. As long as it ends up selling in the end. Hopefully.
