I mean, it's not really that shocking when you look at everything:
- No black friday (they really peaked with TMH, but MM looked better bc of BF)
- Album sales tragic this year
- MM was coming off their peak era + successful movie
- HORRIBLE lead single choice (vs. MM with BSE and SOML starting to do well)
- Minimal promo compared to TMH/MM
Like you said, it's definitely a decline, but nothing too dramatic imo. I just hope they step up their game finally, because they can't keep being lazy and stupid with their singles and expect stability.
