The fact that Nintendo had to release a new version of the 3DS with a better processor because of how lackluster that console is kinda says a lot.



Let me not get into the fact that pokemon games are still giving me Game Boy Advance teas (color if you activate the 3D, that will turn it into a lag fest)

- No trainer Customization
Well, that's the only thing that's really major, but I totally understand why it wasn't included in the game. Kalos is meant to be the region of beauty, hence the customization which will forever remain a Kalos exclusive, in the most likelihood.

- No Battle Frontier
Literally, don't give a single **** about that rusty old building. I'd rather have a proper post-game, with the Delta Episode, Dex-Nav encounters and legendaries than some boring old building.

- All Megas are revealed before Launch leading to no sense of discovery
Get the **** over it. Looks like someone is upset M-Flygon / M-Milotic didn't happen. Poor dat. Don't come crying about WORST GAMES EVER when you're ****** fave didn't get a mega. My #1 fave has 2 megas, so oop sorry hunty.

- The Games are far easier
Um. Good. I play Pokemon because I like how fun and easy to play it is. If you want a challenge, turn off the EXP Share (which was the best thing to happen in Gen6 tbh) , don't battle wild pokemon, play a nuzlocke, don't use items, and so on. It's still not particularly "easy" because I've heard of people getting dragged by DexNav Tailows with Boomburst/BraveBird, I've heard of people JUST beating the E4 with 1HP left, I've heard the catch rate for legendaries is harder again. My friend got absolutely DRAGGED by Primal-Kyogre, so it's not that easy.


- Omitted things from the Original (Gym Leader Rematches, Mirage tower, Battle Tower)
No one gave a single **** about Mirage Tower. The Battle Tower is the only one that was in the true Original, and it was a shittier version of the Battle Maison. Yeah it's a shame about no Gym Leader rematches, but we've got tons of other new features so I don't really care.

- No more berry blender mini games
Good. They were fun for about 2 seconds and then it became a chore, so good.


Literally get over it. All I see is these baseless complaints, generally about trainer customization or battle frontier. Considering both COULD potentially be added as DLC, although unlikely for customization since it will probably be a Kalos Exclusive, you just need to shut up. This isn't 2003 any more. FRLG didn't have your starter follow you like Pikachu in Yellow, so literally get over it.



The story is absolutely STUNNING and vastly improved on the originals. The graphics ae the best in the entire franchise. The new features more than make up for anything else that was removed - Flying to Routes, Soaring in the Sky, Safari Zone becoming useful, Faster Swimming with Sharpedo/Kyogre and most importantly, the DexNav being the best thing to ever happen in recent times (besides EXP share).

I was never a huge fan of the originals, and played FRLG with my time instead, and I don't even have ORAS yet, but without a doubt, they will be the best games I've ever played in the Pokemon franchise come Friday.
