I mean, even I can outsell Katy if I'm allowed to make up receipts. Nice try though.

I'm pretty sure that there are other Katy songs that sold well that aren't added there like Ur So Gay and Peacock which I think went Platinum.

What's the point of this? Goodbye, you're only creating a nonsense fest in which both Gaga and Katy can be shaded

And if her next album does better than ARTPOP ... ? 29-30M
And Katy will be far from Gaga's album sales at least for another 5 years. And Gaga's single sales.. well that doesn't matter that much since Gaga is already at 120M + singles sold which is just a lil bit more than Katy who is famous for her singles... Weird right ?
I understand this is a troll thread with messed up stats, but Katy ain't outselling Gaga anytime soon unless she sells 13M+ albums with her next release.
|
I don't get why you seperate singles from albums when the thread's OP is about the total of records sold though
Anyway, the receipts in the OP are invalid. The gap between Katy's and Gaga's record sales must be 2 - 3 million and Katy will sell that much with the lead single of the re-release alone. And I'm not shading Gaga with this either. They've both sold 100+ million records and that's impressive for both of them, no credit taken away.

Roar isn't above 10,000,000, unless you include streaming. It's probably close, though.
Birthday & This Is How WE Do probably didn't reach 1,000,000 WW, since they bombed WW. And not sure about DH, but this seems way more accurate than the OP's receipts.

The fact that with or without C2C, Gaga's album sales are at a stable 27M though...
Also, you can't honestly believe that Gaga has sold 120M singles.
Record sales are record sales. Doesn't just have to be albums, it can be singles too.

These sales are really inaccurate. You can't just make up receipts

Katy had sold 11m albums and 81m singles before the PRISM era even began, putting her at 92M before adding in Roar, DH, PRISM etc
