The fact that any BeyHive has the AUDACITY to say that Crazy In Love had more impact than Beautiful is literally the most delusional thing I've ever read on this site – and that's saying a lot.
Yes, CIL is an iconic song. Everyone remembers the lyrics, dances to it, etc. It's true. But Beautiful is iconic for a different reason – it made an actual impact on society. 2002 was a very different time, socially. Being gay was even more taboo than it is now, and trans people were practically unheard of by the GP. A twenty-one year old white woman, with multi-colored hair and piercings singing about how people should love themselves. Not just your average straight, white male, but people – white, black, gay, straight, trans, cis, etc. Not only did she do this before it was popular for pop stars to stand up for social issues, she did it during a time where she was already being dragged for her self-image. In that period of time, a move like "Beautiful" could have completely ended Christina's career if the campaign backfired. But it didn't, and it opened up the eyes of millions of people on LGBT issues. Please take off the stan-goggles, BeyHive, and look at the bigger picture.

Huh? Unpretty predates Beautiful and it actually went #1 and there have been other before that etc. . Self empowerment songs were always big. And to say one song made more liberal is really reaching. The masses don't hold songs highly in that regard. It's just entertainment for them

Billboard is an US based chart, so if we're going by local receipts, DIL outsold Stripped and had much bigger hits.

Billboard is based on one country. DIL topped the European Top 100 Albums and Crazy in Love topped the Europena Hot 100 Singles chart for 4 weeks. Stripped and it's singles couldn't.

Probably Stripped. I consider DIL to be Bey's weakest album.

Stripped sold a lot more and her sales were spread unlike DIL which was mostly successful in the US

Yes, it's denoting that one of Beyonce's charting songs came from that label (it was Bonnie & Clyde '03).

DIL.
Bigger singles. More impact & acclaim, etc.
Sure Stripped outsold it, but Beyonce, her sales were more impressive.

Did Xtina use featured artists to get hits?
Obviously Stripped
DIL sold 8m with numerous singles.
