Stop it already, you don't even know what you are talking about. There is absolutely nothing wrong with 256kbps AAC. This bitrate and codec are of such high quality already that the human ear cannot distinguish between 256kbps AAC and a WAV-file. There has yet to be ONE single person to disprove this fact in a double blind test. I tried several double blind tests myself and I always failed so far even though I'm a music producer and mixing engineer, so it's not that my ears aren't trained.
Everything above 256kbps AAC is pure marketing.
