To put it bluntly, voter turnout for Ferguson township was far from historic.
Of 24,334 registered voters, 10,222 cast ballots in Tuesday's election, a turnout of slightly more than 42%, according to an initial tally.
There wasn't a wave of new voters, either, as only 204 residents registered to vote between August 11, the Monday after Brown was shot, and October 8, the registration deadline for Tuesday's election, said Rita Days, St. Louis County's director of elections. Fifty-six additional residents have registered since October 8, she said.

Getting out and voting would be a better start, tbh.

I will not apologize for thinking black lives matter, especially young black lives. If the people do not stand up and do something about injustice, injustice will continue. We must rise up, revolutionize, and take control of our cities and our governments. If we sit back and let them **** us in the ass, they will never stop. Things don't change with peaceful protests, never have and never will. The brave men and women who will be sacrificing tonight* are the real American heroes.
* No, I do not mean the people who take advantage of the situation for ***** and giggles, I mean the people doing it for justice.

What part of me bolding "burn the city down" do you not get? I get that to you we're just some symbolic city so the **** doesn't matter to you but it's not cute when you run on to some Internet forum and post stuff for ***** and giggles about how you hope a city gets burned down so we can have "peaceful change."
And please stop with this ****ing "us vs. them" mentality. St. Louis is 49.2% black.

Clayton will probably get the brunt of it. It's the county seat, is where the courthouse is, is incredibly wealthy and is predominantly white.

People really expect court cases to be determined by feelings and hunches. It's not. Looking at the EVIDENCE, no one should be surprised by the verdict

The only people who know the truth are those in the jury room who actually get presented the evidence.
