Can someone explain What the actual F*CK is going on? And why I missed so much?

Long story short, Rain Man left the group because apparently they didn't appreciate him "not partying and drinking" while he was trying to become sober and battling depression. He was their main music maker in the group (which I didn't know until he left). Now they're coming out saying he didn't do anything and pretended to DJ shows. They're speaking out today but the rumor is they were never actual DJ's. They just did vocals and took the credit or had ghost dj's aka people submitting beats and not making them on their own.
