Ummm I don't know about uncles b/c that would probably lead to genetic defects b/c aunts/uncles have similar genes to your parents... with a cousin you have one more set of genes that's different from your's.

I think beyond taboos, beyond risk to bio kids, beyond consent issues, there are a few things to take into account.
Power dynamics- a child around their parent is never an adult. In some sibling situations, I think that would be the case as well (I don't know about yours). But whatever relationship shaped you as a child is what you are basing this sexual/romantic relationship off of now.
From a societal perspective, family is supposed to be a place that is 'safe' from sexual advances. That doesn't always happen anyway, but the idea is that this is a group of people, men and women, who are guaranteed on your side, guaranteed to give you family love (different than romantic love)
I think a lot of times the people in incestuous relationships haven't been exposed to a lot of other people- they haven't had 'normal' sexual lives before having incestuous sexual lives. My parents always said make sure you live on your own before you move in with someone else. It's kind of the same thing. Experience the good and bad of building a relationship from scratch before adapting a family relationship into a romantic/sexual one.
People are generally stronger (genetically, socially etc) when they join someone with different strengths than they have. Growing up together, I could see a lot of your strengths and weaknesses overlapping.
None of this is to say that I am right, or that my points are important enough to warrant banning it or something, but I do think they are things to consider, and part of why people are resistant to it.

The genetics reason apart, I think the incest is gross because it's culturally perceived as that, but I don't think is unnatural or a psychic disease.

It's not my thing and I'd never do the nasty with someone from my family but I think that if both are mature and can consent, let them do what they want
