Her album sales were fine. Double platinum both times. Rihanna's albums couldn't do that.
Aside from the sales, yeah I guess. She was about to go on tour with the third album but she died before that really took shape.
You can paint her as a cute teeny bopper if you want to, but the current sound of alternative R&B, Tinashe, Drake, Ciara, Rihanna, Jhene, Sevyn, Cassie, that Rochelle girl primo talks about, and Justine can all tell you that she is one of the most crucial cute teeny boppers to hit R&B in the last 25 years.
